I do also want to recommend some accessories to you. Because having an iPad is great, but if you’ve got extra tools you can really make the most of it, especially if you’re a digital artist. To be honest even my daughter makes the most out of the Apple Pencil 2 (she’s 7) as she really loves colouring in on my iPad.
She may not make the most of all of the features but she certainly uses it frequently, and way prefers it to her finger (or a real pen and paper, to be honest). And our digital art editor also uses his Apple Pencil 2 daily – possibly slightly more professionally.
There are deals on the other Apple Pencils in the range as well:

I’m actually quite surprised that so far this weekend we’ve seen some price movement. I was joking with the team about the Good Old Days of Black Friday/Cyber Monday weekend, and how it used to involve Flash sales we’d be scrambling to cover. In recent years it’s been some so-so deals that are introduced on Friday (or before) and stay put for the weekend. But I’ve see some changes already this weekend, such as the further price drop on that iPad 10 for example.
This does mean I think deals will sell out though, as retailers are being agile to try to convince you to buy. So do stay tuned and make sure you press buy if you see a price that appeals to you.

You might be wondering how we double and triple check that the advice we are offering you is accurate. Well, we mostly use our incredible knowledge, obviously, but we also have some tools at our disposal. Want to know our secrets? Okay then, since you asked so nicely.
One tool we use that you can jump on yourselves for this sales event (or at any time) is The Camelizer. This is a price history comparison tool, that comes in the form of a website and a handy browser extension. It only works for Amazon, but that does give you a pretty thorough picture of what prices have done in the history of a product. And usually Amazon matches the cheapest prices found elsewhere (except on Nintendo Switch but that’s another gripe for another blog).
All you have to do is either enter the product on The Camelizer website, or click on the extension when on an Amazon listing page. And a handy graph pops up that shows you how the prices have tracked since the product was released! Voila!
Here you can see the evidence for the lowest price on the iPad 10. So handy.
Hi there! This is CB Editor, Georgia, taking over for a while. I’ve been alongside the team this weekend searching and searching for the tiniest price fluctuations to try to save you as much money as possible. I’ve been doing this for six years so I understand the tips and tricks that can save you extra money over sales events.
One thing I’m seeing a lot is the addition of a coupon to save a bit more money over at Amazon. That’s true at the moment on this standout deal on the iPad 10th generation, which has never seen such lows when you add on the extra $9.01 coupon. It’s an iPad that changed the game when it was released, and actually confused us a bit in its power and price – after all this was the basic iPad and it was quite expensive indeed. But this deal more than solves that problem, and though it’s a couple of years old now, it is still a very capable tablet that will work for the majority of users.
Of course, if you’re a power user you’ll need something more.. well.. powerful. But this is a lovely iPad with a fab screen. And it’s $249 at Amazon!

I did in fact buy myself a tablet this Black Friday, but it wasn’t made by Apple or Samsung…
There’s still an incredible Black Friday deal on the Honor Magic Pad 2 with $100/£100 off, and it includes 2 free accessories: the Magic Pencil 3 stylus, plus a premium keyboard case cover all for just £399. The reason I bought this tablet was for its gorgeous 12.3-inch OLED display, with a refresh rate of 144Hz and 1,600 nits of peak brightness.
I’ll be honest…I’m really not the biggest fan of Apple tech, as the resident Samsung user on Creative Bloq. I own the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra as my smartphone of choice, and I’ve preferred mostly Android devices from a young age.
With that said, I am typing on a MacBook Pro as we speak – and the other week I actually visited Apple’s London HQ in Battersea and got a whole new perspective on the competition, while learning some neat software tricks.
I thought I might burst into flames as I stepped through the door, but in actuality, I had a really nice time with our staff writer Natalie, and we got hands-on with the iPad Air M2 for a Procreate tutorial by one of Apple’s experts. I’m not quite a convert yet, but let’s say I’m warming up a little.

Looking for more ways to save on iPads this Cyber Monday? Most people aren’t aware that Apple actually offers student discounts, and these education offers also extend to teachers, and parents of students too. Discounts are available all year round, and usually offer excellent prices on more popular Apple products including the latest iPad Pro M4 series.
The amount you can save with Apple’s student discount offers depends on the products, and time of year with back-to-school sales being the biggest hit. We’ve also found that Apple’s student discount is great for new products, but not so much for older models. Most last-gen Apple devices have better discounts at other retailers, so keep this in mind in when price comparing this Cyber Monday.

Speaking of the iPad 10th-gen model, if you’re in the UK then there are a few deals on it right now that can save you around £40-£60. The cheapest price I’m seeing right now on the iPad 10.9-inch (2022) tablet with 64GB of storage is £329 £289 from retailers including Currys, Argos, and Amazon.
BUT – if you purchase this iPad from John Lewis (where it’s also £289) then you get a few more perks including free next-day delivery with the code APPLENEXTDAY, plus free 3 months of Apple Music, Apple TV+, Apple Arcade, and Apple Fitness+ once you activate your device.
Prefer more storage? There’s also a deal on the 256GB model down from £499 to £439 at Amazon.

Don’t tell him – but to go with my Dad’s new iPad 10th Gen, I’ve bought him this ZtotopCases iPad cover from Amazon for Christmas to make sure it stays safe.
The blue leather cover matches his blue tablet nicely, and I really hope he likes it. Next on my list to get him is an iPad screen protector, so I’ll let you know if I find any great deals during my search.

Quick story time: I recently went with my dad to our local CeX store and helped him trade-in my mum’s older iPhone generation models towards getting a new iPad. He’s never owned one before, and mainly wanted a larger screen to stream content and check his emails. We ended up leaving the store with a secondhand iPad 10th generation model (and we got a real bargain on it too).
The reason I’m sharing this is because not everyone wants or needs the latest shiny iPad model, and shopping for older tech, especially renewed/refurbished iPads is a great way to save money and help the recommerce economy too. Check out Apple’s official Refurbished Products site for some excellent deals, and also consider sites like Back Market if you’re a bit of a bargain hunter.

Hey guys! It’s Beth here. I’m Creative Bloq’s Ecommerce writer and I’ll be with you for the next few hours as we head into Cyber Monday. Despite what a lot of people think, not all of the best iPad deals are exclusive to Black Friday, and sometimes the later deals can actually be hidden gems. Stick with us as we scour retailers in both the US and UK, to find you the very best iPad deals.

After my recent travels to Apple’s Battersea HQ, I became slightly enamoured by the Apple Pencil Pro. It’s safe to say that the M2 iPad Air are a match made in heaven (especially in Procreate).
If you’re a digital artist looking for the perfect accoutrement for your iPad, I’d recommend capitalising on this Apple Pencil Pro deal that’s currently $99 at Walmart. For iPad models older than the M4 iPad Pro and M2 iPad Air, you can get the Apple Pencil 2 for $79.99 at Amazon.

The iPad Mini is the ultimate commuter tablet thanks to its lightweight and compact design. It’s perfect for note-taking, on-the-go streaming and e-reading. If that sounds like a bit of you, you can grab the 6th Gen iPad Mini for $499.99 at Amazon. At 23% off (with WiFi and 256 GB of storage) it’s a mighty saving for Apple’s dinkiest iPad.

There’s an iPad for everyone, but choosing the right one for your needs can be tricky at times. Whether you want the portability of the iPad Mini or the Power of the iPad Pro, our iPad generations guide will hopefully help you to narrow down your options. With iPads getting increasingly more powerful, lots of creatives are opting for a tablet instead of a traditional laptop. If you want to transform your creative setup, check out our picks of the best iPad and iPad Pro keyboards.
There’s currently a 20% off deal on one of our favourites, the Logitech Combo Touch Keyboard Case. Get it for $229.99 $184.99 at Amazon.

The iPad Pro is undoubtedly a powerful majestic beast but If you’re looking for something a little more low-key, the iPad Air is a great option for most. Its light weight makes it a great portable tablet for on-the-go art or entertainment. There are still some great deals this Black Friday – for $100 off get the iPad Air for $499 at Amazon.
2024-11-30T15:49:37.048Z
Okay, hear me out… I know it’s not for everyone, but for the hardcore creative professionals out there you can still get $200 off on the latest M4 iPad Pro. Reduced from $1,299 to $1,099 at Amazon it’s a great saving for Apple’s latest iPad model, and that M4 chip really puts in the work, making large-scale 3D and video editing projects a doddle.

Time to talk about apps! It’s no surprise that the iPad is the tablet of choice for many digital artists – but what’s the best digital art app? “Procreate” I hear you scream. Well, yes… it’s a worthy contender with its host of intuitive features, but may I humbly suggest Heavy Paint – the best painting app you’ve never heard of.
Our digital arts & design editor, Ian, has this to say about it: “This is a painting app that doesn’t waste processing power trying to solely emulate the look and feel of real world paints, chalks and blending, but instead joyfully exposes the digital, pixel-like quality of painting on an iPad. The results are stylised but infinitely enjoyable”.

Some of the best savings this year are on Apple’s older iPad models and I for one think they still deserve some love. You can currently get the 2021 iPad for $199.99 at Best Buy (a nice $130 saving is nothing to grumble about).
It’s perfect for light creative work like on the go sketching, or as a portable browsing/streaming device to take on long journeys – OG iPad you’ll always be in my heart.

While you might be more likely to associate the Nintendo Switch with gaming (and there are some great Nintendo Switch Black Friday deals out there), the iPad has become increasingly more of a contender in recent years. Even the iPad mini is perfect for gaming, with the A17 Pro chip making playing demanding, graphics-intensive AAA games like Zenless Zone Zero easier than ever.

Let’s face it, if you’ve just bought an iPad, you’re going to want an Apple Pencil. While Steve Jobs might have once sneered “Who wants a stylus?” when debuting the iPhone, the Apple Pencil has proven itself to transform the entire iPad experience.

One of the most impressive deals we’ve seen is $90 off the 10th generation iPad in the US. Over in the UK, the offering on the same model isn’t quite as generous – but it’s not to be scoffed at.
2023 was an unusual year for Apple, with the company releasing no new iPad updates for the first time in the product’s 11-year history. But in 2024, this wrong was righted – and then some. Making up for lost time, Apple dropped new versions of the iPad mini, iPad Air and iPad Pro. And while they’re all impressive, the most notable has to be the Pro. Not only does it feature the thinnest design of any Apple product ever, but it also gained the M4 chip before any other Apple machine, leap-frogging the Mac line up. Indeed, the M4 Pro is so impressive that we couldn’t help but wonder in our review whether there’s such thing as too powerful.

Different iPads are naturally suited to different creatives – let’s face it, the iPad Pro’s M4 chip processor would be wasted on my intensive journalling and TikTok brainrot scrolling sessions – so how do you make the right choice?
For you artists out there who are looking for the perfect tablet, may I present our guide to the best iPad for drawing (as fully tested by creative experts).
2024-11-30T13:35:16.448Z
I’d like to have a special moment for the iPad Mini, a small but delightful tablet for on-the-go adventures. While the small screen isn’t the most practical for work projects, as a little hub for all your networking and entertainment needs it’s the perfect companion. Weighing only 293 g it doesn’t get much more portable than that.
Let’s talk iPad accessories. Depending on your needs there are plenty of ad-ons you can buy to jazz up your iPad setup. One of my favourite picks is Apple’s Magic Keyboard which turns your tablet into a laptop experience without the added bulk. It attaches magnetically and features a floating design so you can set the viewing angle to up to 130 degrees.
There’s currently a 20% off deal on Apple’s Magic Keyboard for $199 at Amazon.

If you’re in the market for multiple Apple goodies, I may have just the thing for you. The annual Apple Store Shopping Event is Apple’s alternative to Black Friday sales, offering gift cards instead of money off. Admittedly some deals are better than others – the more you spend the more you get.
Apologies for mentioning it again so soon BUT if you treated yourself to the M4 iPad Pro 13-inch for $1,299 at Apple, you’d also be earning yourself a tasty $100 gift card. Think of all the AirTags you could buy with that! (Four…the answer is four)

Apple’s diverse selection of iPad options is a blessing and a curse. While there’s an iPad for just about anyone, from students to creative professionals, it can be tricky to decide which model is best for your needs (even a humble deals hunter such as myself can get a little muddled).
Thankfully, our iPad vs iPad Air vs iPad Pro vs iPad mini guide can help you make the right choice. Whether you’re after portability, power or a decent price tag, our guide is a one-stop shop with all the info you need before you buy.

If you’re looking to bag yourself an iPad but you’re a little put off by the Pro’s premium price tag, the 2022 iPad is at its lowest price ever, now $259 at Amazon. While it’s easy to get caught up in the buzz of the latest iPad models, the humble 2022 version is still a great option for digital artists who want portability, affordability and quality. Spare a thought for this underrated hero – with $90 off you can’t go wrong.

Hey folks, Natalie here. I’ll be scouring the interwebs for some juicy deals on all things iPad, from Mini’s to Pro’s and everything in between. Be warned I’ve recently become enamoured with the Apple Pencil Pro, so I’ll likely be giving numerous shoutouts to the M4 iPad Pro (they’re a match made in heaven – what can I say?)
You can currently get your hands on the M4 iPad Pro for $849 at Amazon.
2024-11-30T12:02:49.285Z
An iPad for under $300 is pretty much unheard of, so Amazon’s 42% off deal on the iPad 9th generation, which brings the price down from $479 to $279, is definitely worth a look. It might not be the latest and greatest, but the 9th gen iPad is still a highly capable drawing tablet, complete with Apple Pencil support.

Yesterday, one iPad deal was so good that it caused our very own Daniel John to experience a medical emergency. And the deal is still live!
2024-11-30T11:42:56.394Z
The most recent iPad to be released is the iPad mini 7 – and we were big fans of it in our review. With the addition of the A17 Bionic chip and Apple Pencil Pro support, the iPad mini really does offer the ‘full’ iPad experience in a smaller package, handling everything from digital painting to video editing almost as well as its bigger siblings.
2024-11-30T11:31:40.287Z
Wondering which iPad is for you? With so many options, the line up can feel a little unwieldily. But don’t worry – our iPad generations guide has you covered.
2024-11-30T11:04:04.084Z
Looking at the best deal on the best iPad for the majority of users, and the iPad Air, 11-inch jumps out of the crowd. It’s got $100 off, which takes it from $699 to $599, over at Amazon. But it’s such a good tablet. When I used it, I was really happy with the M2 speeds when browsing and streaming. I really liked the Apple Pencil Pro compatibility, as will all digital artists. And there’s something special about the feel of its light, portable body. Sounds great, and looks great!
Welcome to our brand new Cyber Monday iPad deals checker. We’re going to be searching high and low for all the best iPad deals this weekend… so far I’m seeing a lot of continuation from Black Friday deals, but don’t be fooled. As Amazon shift to Cyber Monday wording, you are going to see unique iPad deals released for Cyber Monday. Happy hunting!
