So… what’s the general consensus on the Samsung Galaxy Ring? I love the design (especially the black version) and how comfortable yet unobtrusive it feels to wear. But I still can’t decide if I should buy one, or if I can justify the current price ($399.99 / £399) given that it ultimately doesn’t seem to do much more than my Galaxy smartwatch.
Yes, it can monitor your health and fitness much more accurately than a smartwatch. And yes, it will provide the wearer with personalized suggestions and wellness tips. But is that all? A lot of the Galaxy Ring features are the same or similar to my smartwatch, so what is the real benefit of owning a Galaxy Ring + a Galaxy Watch?
These are all questions that I have for Samsung, but they’re worth thinking about if you’re also contemplating a Galaxy Ring purchase this Black Friday. I think a big price cut could persuade me, but we’ll see what deals crop up as we edge closer to November 29.

It’s nearly Black Friday!! I’m super excited about the potential savings we’ll get to see on Samsung tech. As a huge Samsung fan, I’m keeping my eyes peeled for any savings on the Samsung Galaxy Ring. I got to try out this smart ring briefly at Samsung HQ, but I just can’t justify the price of one since I already own a Samsung Galaxy Watch too.
