Beat the rush for Black Friday laptop deals with these huge early offers

This laptop has been superseded by this year’s M3-chipped Air. But given the record-breaking price, I’d consider going for this older model if you’re looking for sleek, well-designed laptop for everyday productivity, particularly if you need a highly portable device for travel and commuting.

Asus Zenbook Duo OLED: was $1,499 now $1,199 at Amazon
Save $300: We nominated the innovative Zenbook Duo as a contender for laptop of the year when we reviewed it back in March. The novel second display can be used in multiple configurations and orientations, making it a potential game changer for creatives who find themselves struggling to work across multiple panels on a single cramped laptop display. The internals are solid too: this configuration packs an Intel Core Ultra 7 chip with 16GB memory and 1TB SSD.

Acer Predator Helios 16: $1,319.99 $1,238 at Amazon
Save $81.99: Acer has made a great gaming laptop and rather good one for creatives too here, and the GeForce RTX 4060 card is plenty for future-proofing both your high-speed work and play. I loved using it, and I think you might too. This is close to the base-spec Helios 16, but it’s very probably all you’ll need.

MSI Stealth 16 AI Studio: $2,599.99 $2,303.26 at Amazon
Save $296.73: MSI makes some of the most powerful laptops around for gaming and content creation, and this is a prime example. We gave it 4.5 stars, and praised the slim build for its size as well as the powerful internals. This configuration packs an Intel Core Ultra 8 and Geforce RTX 4070 GPU with a massive 64GB of RAM.

MSI Prestige 16 Evo: $1,649.99 $1,549.99 at Amazon
Save $100: If you don’t need a discrete graphics card, this classy MSI gives you a whopping 32GB of RAM and a good screen for photo-editing and artworking (and watching movies after work). That’s considerably more oomph than a MacBook Air for not so much more money.

Save $200: With AMD Ryzen AI 9, an OLED touchscreen, 32GB of RAM and a 1TB SSD, we think this is a great buy for a 16-inch Windows laptop with only integrated graphics but enough power for light creative workflows, including photo editing.

Save £1,729: It’s still expensive even with this massive discount, but this beast of a laptop from MSI contains a Nvidia GeForce RTX 4090, the most powerful consumer graphics card that money can buy. If you’re a serious creative who wants to do equally serious gaming, this is the monster you’ve been looking for. We reviewed it, and we loved it. And now, we can afford it… almost.

MSI Raider 18 HX: £4,199 £2,799 at Amazon UK
Save £1,400: For a larger display, Amazon has a massive discount on MSI’s whopping 18-inch Raider 18HX. Internals are comparable to the laptop above, although the Raider line is marketed more specifically for gaming, as is apparent in the RGB lighting on the keyboard. Again, this is the lowest price we’ve seen on this MSI laptop. The catch? You’ll have to wait a while for delivery.

MSI Crosshair 16 HX: £1,599.95 £949.99 at Overclockers UK
Save £649.96: If you’re not in the market for such mind-meltingly powerful specs, Overclockers UK has a great deal on a more pedestrian MSI laptop, and it’s hardly a poor setup with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060. The display is only QHD+ in this case, but with a speedy 240HZ refresh rate.

Asus Zenbook 14 OLED: £1,099 £729.99 at Amazon
Save £369.01: This is a great deal on a laptop that we gave 4.5 stars when we reviewed it earlier in the year. The price above is for a 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD configuration with an Intel i5 Chip, but there are discounts on more powerful configurations too.

Asus Zenbook S 13 Flip: £1,399 £1,149 at Amazon
Save £500: For an even more highly portable laptop from Asus, Amazon also has a good price for this 13-incher with 16GB RAM, a 1TB SSD and Intel Core Ultra 7 chip. This is another laptop that did very well in our own testing, performing strongly despite its incredibly small and light build.
