We’ve been tracking the best Black Friday drawing tablet deals for years now, so we know what to expect. And the good news is there are usually loads to choose from, with offers from the likes of Huion, XP-Pen, Xencelabs and Wacom available.
Drawing tablets come in two forms: graphic tablets that need an external monitor and pen displays, which have their own screen. We’ll be covering both types over Black Friday and Cyber Monday this year. As well as telling you about the deals themselves, we’ll also be providing expert advice and analysis on the Black Friday drawing tablet deals based on our years of experience tracking prices and reviewing creative tech, see our guide to the best drawing tablets for our current favourites.

Pen display deals
XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 (Gen 2): $899.99 $539.99 at XP-Pen
Save $360: This is XP-Pen’s newest Pro 16 pen display, running on the new X3 Pro chip. It’s a fantastic pen display with an excellent stylus. This is the lowest price we’ve ever seen and it’s stayed around post-Black Friday into 2024.
Wacom Cintiq 16: $799.95 $597.98 at Amazon
Save $201.97: Black Friday saw the price of this tablet drop to $499, but there’s still savings to be had on this Wacom drawing tablet. It’s not a 4K display and there’s no touch capability, but the price of this makes it a logical choice for anyone moving up from a graphics tablet of who wants to experience working on a pen display without needing a pro colour gamut. We gave it 4 stars in our Wacom Cintiq 16 review.
Huion Kamvas Pro 24: $1,299 $1,119 at Huion
Save $180: The number one tablet in our guide to the best Huion drawing tablets had a good discount in the brand’s own Black Friday drawing tablet sale, down to $1,119 and it’s now just $30 more expensive. We gave this excellent 4K display a 4.5 stars in our Huion Kamvas Pro 24 review, praising its multiple connection options and great colour coverage.
Pen tablet deals
Wacom Intuos (medium): $199.95 $129.95 at Amazon
Save $100: Amazon has 50% off the medium Wacom Intuos with Bluetooth connectivity. We saw this drop to the lowest price on record – $99.95 – as a Black Friday Wacom deal but it’s not far off at the moment, at $129.95. Stay tuned for more discounts though.
XP-Pen Artist Pro 16: $429.98 $376.99 at Amazon
Save $52.99: This is a great price for a compact pen display and is the lowest we saw it over Black Friday. While the screen could be brighter and we found installation a little complex, we loved the drawing experience when we tested this quality budget option for our XP-Pen Artist Pro 16 review.

Black Friday drawing tablets: Need to know
Historically, Black Friday has been the best time of the year to buy drawing tablets, accessories and bundles, and this year looks to be no different. In fact, we’re already seeing products still at last year’s Black Friday prices, so hopefully they’ll drop even further this sales season. In terms of brands, you can expect Wacom Black Friday discounts from the brand itself, and deals from XP-Pen, Huion and Xencelabs, who are running their own Black Friday and Cyber Monday drawing tablet deals. Big third-party retailers like Amazon and Adorama also have good savings.
When do Black Friday and Cyber Monday drawing tablet deals start and end?
Black Friday 2024 is on 29 November, with Cyber Monday following on 2 December, but many retailers started their Black Friday drawing tablet deals a couple of weeks in advance. Most of the best deals usually finish on the Monday after Black Friday although some carry on past the official end of Cyber Monday.
It’s always hard to know whether to grab an early deal or hold out for the chance of a bigger saving, but as a general rule, we would suggest going for it if you see a very attractive saving in the run-up to Black Friday itself.
How to get the best Black Friday drawing tablet deals
There are a huge number of retailers offering drawing tablet Black Friday deals, and while that offers you a lot of choices for finding the best deals, it can also be a bit overwhelming.
We recommend getting clear what kind of tablet you want (a pen display or pen tablet? What size? Pro or enthusiast?) and setting a budget. This will give you a good idea of the kind of deals that will be right for you. You might also want to consider cheaper brands. While Wacom is the market leader, the likes of Huion and XP-Pen offer excellent alternatives that are usually less expensive, and those too should see price cuts on Black Friday.
How did we choose these Black Friday deals?
We choose the top Black Friday drawing tablet deals by searching across multiple retailers to compare and price check which store has a popular product for the best price, and we keep tabs on the deals we find using our clever deals widgets to monitor when a price goes up or down.
We then compare the price history of the same product from previous months and years, to know if we’re really getting a bargain on a great drawing tablet, or if a deal is just a bluff and it’s been cheaper before.
It’s normal for prices to fluctuate around Black Friday, and we have a decade’s worth of experience in monitoring deals to know when something is a record-low or a once-a-year deal that’s worth grabbing when you see it.
Can you use an iPad as a drawing tablet?
Yes, you can use an iPad as a drawing tablet. The Apple Pencil works excellently with Apple’s tablet to create digital art. However, the experience won’t always be the same as other, more specialist tablets – the screen is shinier so it’s a less authentic art experience, for example.
But there is incredible power in the Pro, and the most recent Air, paired with the new Apple Pencil Pro. The other consideration is size, drawing tablets can come in a much bigger size than the biggest iPad, which is 12.9 inches.
There will almost definitely be some iPad deals this Black Friday and Cyber Monday (but we won’t be listing them here. For that you need the Apple Black Friday roundup).
Are there any drawing tablet alternatives?
It may also be worth thinking if you need a dedicated drawing tablet or if you’d be better off with an iPad or Android tablet with a stylus. These are more versatile and could see big discounts as well. If you’re buying for a child, then check out our best drawing tablets for kids guide for specific advice and recommendations.
Once you have a budget and your needs in mind, you can narrow down your search. We’ve also made life easier for you here, as we’ll be updating this page in the run-up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday and during the day itself to highlight all of the best drawing tablet deals we’ve found, so make sure you check back here first before you buy!
