We don’t mean to alarm you, but there are already some early Apple Black Friday deals cropping up at retailers (yes, we know it’s only September). In the same way that you’ve probably started seeing festive holiday decor hitting the shelves, Black Friday has begun marking its territory, and it won’t be long before November 29 is imminently upon us. Can’t wait until then? Apple Prime Day deals are coming in October.
Some of the best Apple Black Friday deals are usually on AirPods and Apple Pencil models, and there are some great discounts available right now – including $30 off the 2nd-generation Apple Pencil model at Best Buy. As much as we’re excited to save big on Apple tech this year, we know from experience that Black Friday can be a little deceptive with its deals. Expect record-low prices on the latest MacBook Pro M3 models, and excellent discounts on the iPad Pro M4 series, but be cautious that sometimes the original price of a product can be inflated to make a deal seem greater than it really is.
That’s why we’ve already started tracking Apple Black Friday prices (in the US and UK) from now up until the big day, to guarantee you’re getting a good deal. We’ll also be providing expert analysis of price history and product specs to help you decide if a deal is decent, and not forgetting our price comparison widgets, rounding up the best deals on this page.

Apple Black Friday US Mac deals
MacBook Pro 14 (M3, 8GB RAM): $1,599 $1,299 at Amazon
Save $300: Some might raise eyebrows at the fact that this base model has only 8GB RAM, but Apple says 8GB on a MacBook is more efficient than 8GB on a Windows laptop.
Price check: Apple $1,599 | B&H Photo $1,449
MacBook Air 15 M3 (2024): $1,299 $1,099 at B&H Photo
Save $150: The 15-inch MacBook Air M3 (2024) was only released in March, so this low price is pretty surprising, and a great deal. It replaces the MacBook Air 15 M2 model, released in 2023. There’s a chance that this Mac could drop further in price over the BF sale period, but I wouldn’t bet on it.
Price check: Amazon: $1,149 | Best Buy: $1,299
MacBook Air 13 M2 (2022): $999 $849 at B&H Photo
Save: $150
Overview: The 13-inch MacBook Air M2 (2022) provided a boost in performance and a redesign for what was already an almost perfect compact, lightweight laptop. It has a slightly larger, brighter screen than the 2021 M1 model but actually weighs less. It’s also more powerful thanks to the M2 chip.
Key features: M2 8-core chip | 16-core neural engine | 8GB Unified RAM | 256GB SSD | 13.3-inch Liquid Retina Display
Price check: Best Buy: $999
Apple Black Friday US iPad deals
iPad 10th Gen (10.9-inch, WiFi, 64GB): $349 $299 at Amazon
Save $50: We were confused by this iPad initially, but when we tried it out, we found it actually offered a nice step up from the 9th-generation model for light creative work. This Black Friday deal is the best price on record, beating the previous low of $349 last Black Friday.
Price check: B&H Photo $309
iPad (10.2inch, 2021): $329 $199 at Amazon
Save $130: This is another record-low price. Last year we saw the 2021 iPad was reduced to $229 in Amazon’s Apple Black Friday sale, but this year there’s another $30 off. We’ve never seen this iPad so cheap, and this remains a solid tablet for browsing, entertainment and light work.
Price check: B&H Photo $309
iPad Air 5th gen (M1, 2022): $599 $389.99 (renewed) at Amazon
Save $200: With Apple’s own M1 chip, this iPad is significantly more powerful than the standard model, and it’s better for drawing since it supports the Apple Pencil 2. This is an excellent deal if you don’t mind refurbished Apple tech, from Amazon’s renewed store.
Price check: Walmart: $399 (Out of stock)
Apple Black Friday US Apple Watch, AirPods and more
Apple Watch Series 9 (GPS, 41mm): $429 $329 at Amazon
Save $100: The latest Apple Watch Series 10 has just been released, so it’s no surprise that the Series 9 has taken a price cut. $100 off is a pretty big saving and is more than we usually see discounted on Apple Watches in their first 12 months.
Price check: Best Buy $339.99
Apple Watch SE 2 (40mm): $249 $187.99 at Walmart
Save $60: I’m currently wearing this watch, and though it doesn’t have all the features of the Series 9 or Ultra 2, I honestly think it does everything I need it to. Fitness tracking, messages, calls – I’m not Bear Grylls so I don’t need anything more. And this is an unprecedented price. Boom.
Price check: Best Buy $249
Apple Pencil 2: $129 $99 at Best Buy
Save $30: We’ve tested plenty of iPad styluses, and the Apple Pencil 2 is a top choice if you want to use an iPad Pro, Air or mini for digital art. Last Black Friday, we saw the 2nd-generation pencil sell for $89 on Amazon, but the lowest ever price we’ve seen was $84.99 in June 2023).
Price check: Amazon: $99 | B&H Photo $129
Apple AirPods Max: $549 $449 at B&H Photo
Save $80: This AirPods Max deal is fairly standard during Black Friday, but Apple’s premium over-ear headphones never seem to get much cheaper!. All the same, they offer excellent active noise cancellation and superb sound.
Price check: $469 at Amazon | $479 at Walmart
Apple AirPods Pro 2: $249 $189.99 at Amazon
Save $60: This is not quite the cheapest price on record for the 2nd-gen AirPods Pro, which was $169 last Black Friday, yet still beating out the previous best price of $188 by some margin. These AirPods were released in 2022 and offer excellent sound quality and even better active noise cancellation.
Price check: $199 at Walmart
Apple Black Friday UK Mac deals
MacBook Pro 14 (M3, 8GB RAM): £1,699 £1,500 at Amazon
Save £199: Apple Black Friday deals in the UK tend to be disappointing compared to those in the US, so we’re pleased to see almost £200 off the M3 MacBook Pro 14 model.
Price check: Apple £1,699
MacBook Air 15 M3 (2024): £1,299 £1,159.97 at Amazon
Save £139: We love the 15-inch MacBook Air M3 (2024) for its stunning screen and lightweight feel. It was only released in March this year, and is already seeing some worthy discounts, so we’ll be keeping close tabs on this as we approach Black Friday.
Want the bigger Ram/memory model? The 512GB option is discounted to £1,699 £1,539 at Amazon too.
Price check: John Lewis: £1,174.97
Apple Black Friday UK iPad deals
iPad Air (5th gen, 2022): £649 £429 at Currys
Save £200: We recommend the iPad Air as the best iPad for most people, and this is the cheapest price in the UK since a Prime Day deal in 2022 (and that was back before Apple raised the starting price last September). We think this is the iPad to choose for a balance between performance and price (see our iPad Air 5 review)
Price check: Amazon £669
iPad (10th gen, 2022): £349 £329 at Amazon
Save £20: This might not be the biggest saving, but it’s still a great price for a sleek Apple tablet for general productivity.
Price check: Currys £349
Apple Black Friday UK Apple Watch, AirPods and more
Apple Pencil 2: £129 £119 at Amazon
Save £10: This is far from the lowest price ever on the Apple Pencil 2 in the UK (it was £89 last year) but this is still a great chance to snap up a tool for digital art and note-taking if you have an iPad Pro, Air or mini.
Price check: Currys £119
Apple Black Friday: What you need to know
When do Apple Black Friday deals start and end?
Black Friday is on Friday November 29 this year, but most retailers start their Apple Black Friday 2024 discounts at least a week early. The best deals usually conclude on the Monday after Black Friday, which is known as Cyber Monday. This falls on Monday, December 2nd this year.
Does Apple do Black Friday deals?
In short: no. While Apple is happy to let third-party retailers discount its gear, you won’t find any direct Apple Black Friday or Cyber Monday deals at the Apple Store. Instead, it will be offering Apple Black Friday gift cards that can be redeemed against later purchases.
The maximum Apple Black Friday gift card you can claim is worth $250 / £250, but you’ll need to buy one of its more expensive products to qualify for that. Generally, they’re not such a great deal considering that we’re seeing some direct savings that are worth as much the gift card, but the official Apple Black Friday offer can sometimes work in your favour if you know you’re definitely going to want to buy another Apple product down the line.
How to get the best Apple Black Friday deals
Huge Apple Black Friday discounts are usually on older kit, or products released earlier in the year. Apple kit tends to hold its value very well, and though more serious savings have been spotted from time to time, we’re not usually talking about massive discounts. But if you want to pay a little bit less than the full retail price for some new Apple gear, then Black Friday’s your best opportunity.
To get the best Black Friday Apple deal, decide in advance what hardware you’re after and how much you want to spend. For the best deals without having to trawl through retailers, stick with us. We’ll be updating this page with direct links to all of the best Apple Black Friday deals for 2024 as and when they go live.
There have already been some record-low prices on the MacBook Pro and Air M2 ranges, but even savings on the new MacBook M3 which was only released this month. this month. We’re also seeing some good prices on iPads and solid if predictable savings on AirPods and Apple Watch.
How do I know if a deal is good?
With so many retailers pushing Apple Black Friday deals, it can be hard to pinpoint which are the best discounts, and what really is considered a good deal. You have to be careful during these big retail events and ensure that sellers haven’t just hiked up the retail price to make it seem like a discount.
That’s where we come in: we use price comparison tools to track price history, and compare the current prices across different retailers. During Black Friday these will fluctuate so we’ll be regularly checking and updating. And we will link you directly to savings so you know the offer is the real deal.
It never hurts to know the current RRP of each model – our iPad generations article, Apple Watch generations post and Apple Pencil prices guides will help with this.
How do we choose the deals to include in this guide to Apple Black Friday deals
We’ve been reviewing Apple products and tracking their prices for over a decade, so we’re clued up on which Apple products are worth investing in and how much they cost. To select the deals to include in this round up, we track the prices of Apple gear that we have reviewed and tested, comparing prices across all major retailers in the US and UK. We usually only highlight a deal that represents at least 5 per cent off Apple’s own retail price.
