When do Prime Day 2024 deals start?
Amazon Prime Day officially takes place over Tuesday and Wednesday 16 and 17 July 2024. In the UK, it will start at midnight on Monday 15 July, while in the US it will start at midnight Pacific Time.
How do we pick our top Prime Day monitor deals?
Our main aim here at Creative Bloq is to be a helpful and inspiring resource for creatives around the world. And that means for all creatives that work with computers and monitors – as we do. We’ve got several years’ experience reviewing the best and the worst monitors, whether that’s screens that will do what you need them to do for basic work, or the pro-level best monitors for video editors.
So, before we report on a monitor deal, we will consider a host of different things. First, is the monitor any good? We look at the brightness, resolution, panel technology, contrast ratio, supported colours, colour space coverage, viewing angles, connectivity, general build and, of course, the price you’re being asked to pay for all this.
We take all these specs, and give you our informed opinion on how this monitor sits in context to its competitors, at the price that’s being asked. Once we’ve found a good monitor, and a good deal price, we make sure that the deal price isn’t bettered by any other retailer. You see, we don’t just report on Amazon deals over Prime Day. Deals can be from any retailer out there – we’re just interested in bringing you great deals.
What to expect from the best Prime Day monitor deals
Monitor prices vary massively. You can pay anything from around $100 for a budget screen to over $5,000 for a pro display with super broad colour coverage for photo and video editing. We expect to see Prime Day monitor deals across a range of devices from big brands, and the size of savings will usually be proportionate to the original price. We can expect to see savings of around $20 to $40 on cheap FHD screens and discounts of up to around $300 to $400 on large and expensive 4K screens.
While we may get some official Prime Day deals for Amazon Prime members only, the majority of monitor deals during Prime Day are likely to be general discounts that are available to everyone. Even retailers other than Amazon are likely to offer some discounts to compete with the commerce giant.
